Long Description:
In this game you have the opportunity to assume various roles (prospector, captain, mayor, trader, settler, craftsman, or builder) all of which interact allowing you to own the most prosperous plantations, build the most valuable buildings, and achieve the greatest prosperity. We will be playing using a “tricked out” version of the game, featuring miniature buildings, small ships, and metal coins, which brings a “tabletop tableau” feel in addition to all the other fun. As interest dictates, we can also discuss play strategies, the two expansions, and ways to “trick out” your own copy of the game. If you already know the rules but are just looking to play, please register and come help teach the others. Finally, please know there is no connection between myself and the game manufacturer, Rio Grande Games, or the game designer, Andreas Seyfarth. I'm just a guy who loves the game.
