Long Description:
Pacific Rim Uprising is a 2018 sci-fi action film, a sequel to the 2013 film Pacific Rim. The story is set ten years after the first film and follows Jake Pentecost, a former Jaeger pilot who is recruited back into the program to stop a new threat. Together with a young hacker and his former co-pilot, they must train a new generation of pilots and stop rogue Jaegers from destroying the world. They uncover a plot to create an army of Kaiju and use them to destroy humanity. The film explores the theme of legacy and the importance of teamwork while building on the world and characters established in the first movie. Free popcorn and drink tickets provided.
