Long Description:
Bloody April was the (largely successful) British air support operation during the Battle of Arras in April 1917, during which particularly heavy casualties were suffered by the Royal Flying Corps at the hands of the German Luftstreitkräfte. During the Nivelle offensive (16 April – 9 May 1917), The Royal Flying Corps (RFC) supported British operations by offering close air support, aerial reconnaissance and strategic bombing of German targets. It is April 1917, you are a pilot in the elite Royal Flying Corps fighting off the Hun, or you are a pilot in the Luftstreitkräfte with your superior aircraft and training ready to down the enemies of Germany and Kaiser Wilhelm II.
