Long Description:
Are you looking to level up your miniature bases and terrain? Or only just starting to create them? If making your nature-themed pieces more realistic sounds interesting, this is the class for you! The subject of this session is VOLCANIC. I’ll teach you some basic natural history as it applies to making pieces for tabletop gaming. Then we’ll make two bases together that sample different materials, methods, and habitats that fall under the session’s theme. While they set, you’ll pick another scene to recreate and use what you’ve learned to plan it out. You’ll leave the class with two completed bases, a sample kit of basing materials, new ideas, and some resources to keep exploring them. The leader of this workshop is a paleontologist and naturalist. They have 15 years of experience working with natural history collections and teaching others about nature.
