This game is set in the Pax Lexque campaign setting, a very alternate history of Earth during the time of the Roman Empire. The party forms a Manus Legis squad, a military group formed to deal with magical or unknown threats. It is set in a version of the ancient city of Tarantum and run by one of the authors of the campaign setting.
