Long Description:
EMERGENT is an investigative horror ttrpg where you play as highschoolers that discover they have superpowers and must fight interdimensional monsters, inspired by media like Stranger Things, Supernatural, and X-men. Each Monster is extraordinarily powerful. Players have no chance if they fight fair--so don't. Players must track down the Monster, examine the sites of its attacks, observe its behavior, explore its lair, and find its weaknesses--and then exploit them using their powers and ingenuity with a streamlined crafting system. Finally, engage in punchy, streamlined combat focused around teamwork and creative, cooperative use of your powers, without the constraints of an initiative system. This is a full oneshot of Emergent--balance your work schedule, hunt the monster, find its weaknesses, craft traps and weapons to exploit them, and (hopefully) bring it down!
