Long Description:
It was a straightforward escort mission: gather goods in Silverhaven and transport them to Emberfall. On the third evening, seeking refuge in Shadyvale, the players find themselves at the Thirsty Grasshopper Inn. After a meal, they join a group of dwarves by the fire, reveling in ale and songs recounting tales of lost gold. The following day, Jareth, the expedition leader, reveals that a wheel has been stolen from one of the large cargo wagons. A new wheel needs to be crafted, and the party must spend the day in Shadyvale. The dwarves bid farewell, and the rest of the day is spent leisurely at the Thirsty Grasshopper. Upon waking the next day, the party discovers the dwarves have returned. They inquire about their unexpected return, only to be met with laughter. Jareth enters, repeating from yesterday that the wagon has been sabotaged. Welcome to Groundhog Day in Shadyvale.
