Long Description:
High above The Last City of Humanity, the towers are under attack! Join a fireteam that must push back this assault against the evil Vex, defending innocents. Repel the invaders in this high-octane TTRPG that plays like a first-person shooter. This one-shot session uses a custom-built system to tell stories inspired by the Destiny video game series. Players will take on the role of Lightborn to defend humanity against hostile aliens and ruinous warlords. This session will introduce players to the rules, showcase the system’s high-energy, fast-paced combat, and set the players against the ruthless Vex! This is the first part of a two-shot strike being run at Gen Con. You don't need to play the other part (Defiance Strikes Back), but they will tie together. Everything will be provided: characters, dice, and all the rules will be explained as we play. Knowledge of Destiny is not required.
