Query Letters—the ever important and oft overlooked part of publishing. If you’ve written something for publication, chances are you’ve come across the dreaded query letter. Join HauntedMTL’s very own the award-winning Jim Phoenix as he breaks down the mystique, the pitfalls, and the triumphs of the query letter. In this seminar, we will discuss the basics parts of the query letter along with the Dos and Donts in submissions. By the end of the seminar, you should be able to construct a letter that has the best chance of gaining the eye of a publisher. Feel free to bring your own query letters for Jim to review and give feedback on!
