Details

Timing:
Sat 12:00 PM - Sat 1:00 PM
Location:
Stadium / Meeting Room 12
Long Description:
It is all too easy in RPGs to gloss over the realities, quandaries, and true agony that are all inevitable elements of a war. Join us as Darkeport’s GM shares his perspective as a veteran, combat medic, and long-time storyteller on portraying heartfelt war-stories. Key points are depicting battle with narrative power without glorifying the inherent violence; showing the beauty of resilience and forgiveness without ever eliding over the pain that make them necessary; and finally how the grinding traumas of war can threaten to undo even the strongest moral characters.
