Long Description:
Meet the stone and metal animals inhabiting downtown Indianapolis. Guides will share the stories and symbolism behind these curious creatures, and what the architectural and artistic details reveal about Indianapolis history. Tourgoers will investigate exteriors of multiple landmarks, including the Indiana War Memorial, Birch Bayh Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, Soldiers & Sailors Monument, Circle Tower Building, and more. This tour takes place outside and covers approximately 1.5 miles. Tours run rain or shine, so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Participants should expect to walk or stand for the entire length of the experience.
