Long Description:
Open for all new players! Participation in rounds 1 or 2 not required for play in round 3. We provide the decks and teach the fundamentals of this new format. The older the card, the better: creature types from all tournament-legal sets are legal here. Commons and uncommons are the rares and mythics: if you have a card you love and couldn't fit into an existing format, this is its new home. This format makes cards that make a splash in sealed and yet would only cost you the game in constructed actually matter. Lower rarity makes riffle shuffling encouraged. First come, first serve of creature type to play with and against. Beginner friendly: early turns are easier to understand, later turns are suitably complex. Not a tournament: this is a celebration and exploration of Magic: the Gathering's extensive creature list. Late arrival-friendly, although you may be stuck playing pangolins
