Long Description:
Based on experiences teaching university-aged international students, this session will report on some of the principles, problems, pitfalls, and practices involved in using gaming to teach language and cultural skills. In this session, participants will look at some specific gaming examples, discuss cultural models to help educators make gaming more culturally enriching, and workshop some example lessons that can be useful in the teaching and learning context.
