Location:

Long Description:
This is an active audience-participation session modeling an engaging blended education approach for earth science and games/storytelling. Emphasis will be placed on real-world landscape features such as mountains, lowlands, deserts, rivers, cave regions and volcanic areas - and how they relate to each other on a continent. This larger approach may also be of interest for instructors across the physical, geographic, and life sciences. Scott and Jennifer Rice-Snow host the ground4inspiration.net web compendium of 40+ landscape features across the continent that are ready-made to be amazing story settings. Scott is author of 'Landscapes for Writers and Game Masters: Building Authentic Natural Terrain into Imagined Worlds', available from McFarland Press.
