This panel will bring together four academics from different corners of the gaming space to talk about the upcoming research they are doing on games (trpgs) and game culture, and what areas of gaming should be a future focus. Four academics who have published research on games will talk about what they have coming up, and what is the state of gaming research now. They will open up a discussion with the audience about what areas need to be researched, and places where people feel like more data would be valuable. Panelists are Dr. Jose Zagal (University of Utah), Dr. William White (Penn State- Altoona), Dr. Johnathan Harrington (Hong Kong Baptist University) and Dr. Steven Dashiell (Morgan State University).
