Long Description:
As a GM, an adventuring NPCs should be an important part of the story. They need to be more than a gopher, healbot, or someone to carry stuff. In this workshop, you will learn to give them depth, personality, & make them a real person. If your NPCs are devoid of personality, history, and defining quirks, the players will treat them as if they are nothing. Make them interesting and memorable. You will start with a blank page and see how to create a NPC, and get your players to care. This is designed to be about adventuring NPCs. Once that join the party at the beginning or early in your campaign, and go with the party till the end. Join us as we embark on our 6th year at Gen Con. But don't worry, it is all new! PS: Great for authors & game designers as well!
